‘Voices of The Wild’

Step into a captivating realm where nature speaks eloquently through art in our extraordinary exhibition titled
“Voices of the Wild.” This remarkable group exhibition seamlessly unites a diverse selection of talented artists whose works resonate deeply with the raw and untamed beauty of the natural world around us. From Gui Danielewicz’s evocative ocean photography that transports you to serene coastal scenes to Aleisha Hobson’s innovative use of organic materials that reflect the earth's textures. Jessie Beards stunning abstract representations of flora, Emily Bennetts high level of detail in her Black Cockatoos, the earthy ceramics crafted by Emily Flowers and Katherine Moes, and the depth and grandeur of the Night Sky by Woman of the South.

Each unique piece embodies a profound dialogue with the environment. This exhibition beautifully captures the very essence of nature’s voice, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in and experience the profound connection between artistic expression and the wild, untamed landscapes that continually inspire it.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Dhurga-speaking people of the Yuin Nation. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and honour the continuing connection to the land,
sea, sky, and culture that has nurtured this place for countless generations.

We recognise the profound wisdom and artistry embedded in this country, and as a gallery that celebrates creativity in all its forms, we are deeply committed to upholding the values of respect, inclusion, and collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We are grateful to walk on this sacred land and to be part of a community that values and celebrates
the stories, voices, and artistry of the world’s oldest living culture.
