Ella Boylan

Ella Boylan, a mother and contemporary landscape artist from Port Lincoln, South Australia, has been deeply connected to the rugged beauty of the Eyre Peninsula since childhood. Her love for the vast, untamed landscapes of South Australia is reflected in her work, which blends her experiences and emotions with the world around her.

Ella shares, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a need to express my inner world through creative endeavors. My grandmothers were both incredibly skilled makers, and I followed in their footsteps by studying a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Art) and earning a Graduate Diploma in Education. My art career allowed me to transition from teaching to working as a full-time artist in 2021. After experiencing the devastating losses of both my brother and husband in separate accidents, art became a lifeline—both a refuge and a channel for expression. It continues to be a source of healing and self-discovery.”

Ella’s work is widely celebrated, with 11 sell-out exhibitions, a long list of commissions, and artwork displayed in prominent venues such as Adelaide Airport. Her pieces have been collected across Australia and internationally.

We are honored to represent Ella Boylan here at Our Gallery in Milton, NSW, and look forward to sharing her extraordinary talent with our local community and collectors.
