‘Savouring Time’
A Solo Exhibition by Jessie Beard
Places can leave impressions on us in different ways but I find myself thinking about the impressions we leave on them. The little pieces of us we leave behind in the form of memories embedded into a landscape. Our time there may be fleeting but if I were to drive past those rolling mountains, step foot in the little shell scattered sand, gaze at the turquoise waters or just spot that bendy tree, I’d remember it all. The innocent face of a sleeping baby, tiny toes discovering textures, big belly laughs, excited smiles, and the way you looked at me in an unspoken acknowledgement of the beautiful life we live.
