‘Eyes wide open’ By Jessie Beard
‘Eyes wide open’
Another day, another walk, although they aren’t as regular at the moment, the second I step foot out in nature I slow right down. Everywhere I turn I’m allowing the little details to hold my attention. The clear blue sky backdrops the flowering gum, so high in the trees, I wished I could study their intricacies up close. Nonetheless, the organic bends of the trees and their bunches of little blooms swaying in the breeze was what I felt drawn to paint when I entered my studio the next day.
58 x 66cm
Acrylic on polycotton. Framed in Raw American ash
